Introduction

Welcome to - "A Volume Of Poems"

Here is a blog of, of course, poems. Free meaningful poems that I've created packed up in a volume-like format.

Each poem will get its own post, so I have decided that the volumes (each a different topic) will be in the form of labels. So if a love poem is labeled 'love' than it will appear on the love labels section, in other words that poem will be in the love volume. Understand? Well if you don't just look around and soon you will get it. Besides, this blog's about poems so enough with all this technical stuff and lets start to read. Oh and to add on, a poem can be on more than one volume if it has many topics in its meaning.

The volumes I have in mind are; Life, Friends, Love, Hope, Anger, Regret, War, Enemies, Happiness, Sorrow; and more, you'll see as this blog advances.

You can access the poems using the volume links to the left

Notice: All posts are given the date of the blog start. So those of you who think that the blog is not being updated, it is being updated.

Notice - 3/10/08 - New month! Well, I've got some bad news, I'll be gone off for a trip overseas for about a month so that means updates won't be coming in as fast as usual. So when I can I'll update but if not, then farewell for a month!

A Child Choice

For childhood is never to fear life,
Not to worry right or wrong,
But may the truth have a price,
A child must be sure and strong,

Just to keep the myx with balance along,
So no change a child should take,
But unless for truth, or for life's sake.

--- For Joshua, a great nephew. May you be who you want to be not what others want you to be.

Love Is Life Lighten

When a man has no hope in search for love,
Let him find another who owes no favours,
May he be brought to the undying cove,
And let himself go through myx hysterical labours.

To allow others to laugh by, ought to be the plan,
And now he may leave and set what needs righten,
Look for great love is what he hopes he can,
When he finds it, life is lighten.

--- To all those out there who are striving to be perfect for love, don't turn dull, ease up and be yourself, then let life find you, only then will searching for love be brighter.

Arriving

Run for your life,
Only turn back once,
Journey pass a flying knife,
Look ahead your late for lunch.

Better get there early,
To myx some time,
Have it when it's sturdy,
To experience a feast that's fine.

May you be responsible,
Arriving when you should,
It can be possible,
Or should I say could.

Again the next day,
You rush to the place,
But this time your way,
Early arriving is the new case.

--- Dedicated to those who seek hidden meanings. May you be able to find it in this poem and when found, may it help you in future.

Remember Me

If I may die, know the best of me:
That always some part of a foreign field
That is for ever Earth. There will be
In that rich lands a richer form concealed;
A form whom Earth bore, shape, made aware,
Left once, her feelings to love, her life to roam,
A body of Earth's, breathing free air,
Rushed by the rivers, blessed by suns of home.

And remember this at heart, all evil lives long away,
A wave in the endless mind, no less someday
Pass on somewhere back the thoughts by Earth given;
Her sights and songs; stays the way it's written;
And laughter, in need on friends; and calmness,
Of souls at ease, under an Earthly kindness.

--- A poem dedicated to the lost lives of wars. May you all rest peacefully.
